To ensure your Lobo Marino and Palo Sangre Kuripe remains a powerful tool for your sacred practice, it requires mindful maintenance. Because it is crafted from organic materials—bone and dense hardwood—it is sensitive to moisture and temperature.

🛠️ Cleaning the Interior
The most important part of Kuripe care is keeping the air passages clear of Rapé buildup.
Clear after every use: Blow a sharp, dry breath through the applicator after your ceremony to eject any remaining powder.
Use a pipe cleaner: Gently run a thin, flexible wire or a dedicated pipe cleaner through the holes once a week.
Avoid water inside: Never run water through the blowpipes. Moisture can cause the Palo Sangre wood to swell or crack and may weaken the resin holding the pieces together.

✨ Maintaining the Sea Lion Tooth & Wood
The "Lobo Marino" tooth and the Bloodwood are durable but benefit from occasional conditioning.
