  • What does Romé Potó mean?

    Romé Potó means "sacred plant powder".

  • Is rapé or hapé the same as Romé Potó?

    Yes. Although ŕapé (sometimes spelled hapé) literally means snuff in Spanish/Portuguese and we choose to respectfully refer this sacred snuff by the name given from the Noke Koi tribes.

  • Is Romé Potó hallucinogen?

    No! On the contrary, it helps you to ground your mind, body and heart in the present moment.

  • Is Romé Potó addictive?

    We feel any sacred medicine can be addictive if abused and not respected. Romé Potó is very powerful and should be received with great reverence. We are aware of many of our tribal members who receive Romé Potó daily and have a healthy relationship with it. We are also aware of those whose relationship with Romé Potó is not as healthy.

  • Where is your sacred shop based?

    We are based in sunny San Diego, California. All of our packaging and shipping is done in our sanctuary shop in San Diego.

  • Where is your Romé Potó produced?

    Most of our sacred medicines are produced in the Brazilian Amazon from various villages and tribes. We import from the Peruvian Amazon as well.

  • How fast is your processing and shipping times in the U.S?

    We guarantee 'same day shipping' if you place you order prior to noon PST Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Orders thereafter will be shipped the next business day. We use USPS for all of our domestic shipping . On average, delivery time is 2 to 3 days.

  • Do you ship internationally?

    Yes! We use USPS, as well as DHL for all of our international shipping. On average it takes about 10 to 15 days via USPS and DHL. It can take longer depending on customs and any potential holds.

  • Who founded Viva Romé Potó?

    Viva Romé Potó was founded in 2022 by sacred medicine man, Nai Na Txene. After many years of serving Romé Potó to the community, Nai Na now offers Romé Potó in a respectful, authentic and loving way.

  • Is Viva Romé Potó a family-owned business?

    Yes. Our founder Nai Na Txene manages the business with his family in sunny San Diego. We are a small family business and we enjoy it that way.

  • Does Viva Romé Potó donate back to the indigenous families who provide the sacred medicines?

    Yes! We have donated to the Nomanawa village of Brazil and have provided financial help to the Pajé (shaman) and Cacique (chief) of their tribe.

    We currently are working with the Shipibo families in Peru and donate at least once a year when we visit them.

  • How is your Romé Potó packaged?

    We package our Romé Potó in thick recycled 30ml and 2-ounce glass bottles . It has a secure plastic top.

    We use biodegradable wrapping paper and ship our sacred goods in recyclable boxes.
